The role
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified individual with previous payroll experience to join Benenden School on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Finance Bursar, you will manage and oversee all aspects of the payroll function, including pensions reporting. You will ensure that each stage of the payroll process is actioned accurately and in a timely manner, drawing on your strong attention to detail to input and maintain payroll data and system records. In addition to this, you will manage relevant communications and act as a first point of contact in all matters relating to payroll and pensions.
About you
We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong MS Excel skills and excellent management skills, who possesses an expert working knowledge of payroll software packages. Previous payroll experience is essential. Experience in a school role and knowledge of iTrent would be advantageous but is not essential.
You will be a hardworking and flexible individual, who is able to adapt to changing priorities and is willing to assist other roles within the team and step in to provide cover during absence or assistance during busy periods.
