Job overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and nurturing individual to deliver PE lessons and sports sessions across our school (following a planned scheme), supporting engagement with a range of extra-curricular sports and fixtures.

Who are we?

Manchester Communication Primary Academy opened its doors in September 2014 to a small cohort of EYFS/Y1 children, since then it has grown by a 2-form year group each year. The school is now full, with over 450 pupils on roll.

Our last Ofsted inspection graded the school as ‘Good’ in all areas.

Who are we looking for?

First and foremost, we are looking for an excellent practitioner with a minimum of level 3 sports/coaching qualification. You may have experience working in a school or have experience of working with children in another context.

We are looking to appoint someone who holds our values of honesty, trustworthiness, bravery and helpfulness to become an inspiring educator.

Further information about the role and our school is available in the attached Applicant Information Pack.

The closing date for applications is 8am on Wednesday 11th December 2024.

If I’m still interested, what should I do next?

We think that applying for a new role should always be seen as a 2-way process, you have to be right for us, but the school also has to be right for you. So if you are interested in applying, please do feel free to get in touch to discuss the role.

Manchester Communication Primary Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure for a Regulated Activity via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
