About the role
As a PE Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of an engaging and high-quality physical education and school sport program. You will work alongside the Head of PE and the wider department to promote enjoyment, teamwork, and individual achievement within both the curriculum and extracurricular activities. Your responsibilities will include providing tailored support for students, helping them reach their full potential in sport, and contributing to the success of competitive teams. You will plan and deliver inclusive, structured coaching sessions that cater to a wide range of abilities, both during lessons and after-school clubs. With your passion for sport and education, you will inspire students to develop confidence, enhance their skills, and foster a lifelong love of physical activity.
This is a permanent, full-time position needed during term time, 35 hours per week for 35.4 weeks in the year. There is a September 2025 start date.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible individual who is passionate about sport and physical education. You will have previous experience of working with young children. Additionally, you will have a strong ability to communicate effectively with students and staff, working collaboratively to create a positive and engaging environment. A background in coaching, with expertise in hockey, cricket, or swimming, is desirable, as is experience working in an educational setting. You should be proactive, adaptable, and committed to the well-being of our students. A UK driving licence and a willingness to drive a minibus are desirable but not essential.
