PE Teacher - August 2025

Repton Dubai is seeking to appoint an outstanding PE Teacher to start August 2025.

The PE Department is a highly motivated and skilled team of 16 teachers and coaches who take pride in creating a supportive and engaging environment where students of all levels can develop their physical literacy, technical skills, tactical understanding and a confidence in their physical capabilities that will foster lifelong participation. The department is proud of the excellent results achieved in recent years for both IGCSE and IB. Through the success of the school we are expanding the department and invite interested candidates to apply early. 

PE teachers at Repton enjoy the wide variety of facilities on campus, including two sports halls, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a full size football pitch and training pitch, tennis courts, cricket nets and netball courts, which aid towards the planning and delivery of outstanding PE lessons.

Experience and expertise in at least two of our core sports of netball, football, rugby, cricket or swimming is advantageous and we enourage staff to be motivated to teach and coach across a number of sports each year.

The department has three Middle Leaders and a Senior Leader who line manages the team. Given the size of our team and school there are a number of further opportunities and we encourage candidates to outline all of the experience and skills in their application, within and beyond PE. 

We teach core curriculum PE from early years through to Year 13, and support a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities in addition to a comprehensive fixture programme. Repton's House Sport is central to our school spirit and competitive fun and all students are encouraged to participate in full school events such as sports days. Reptonians have the opportunity to take part in a number of Sports Tours and Ski Trips throughout their time with us and we are always extremely proud to support our teams at the annual Dubai Sevens tournament.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree plus QTS and PGCE
• For specialist teachers, the bachelor’s degree must be in a directly related field (e.g. English teacher should have a English related bachelor’s degree)
• The ability to teach through KS3-5 including IB and A Level is essential
• Ideally we require a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
