Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week (which will require flexibility at certain times of the year), Term Time Only (39 weeks)

Meadow High School is a special needs school, which provides education for secondary aged students aged 11-19 years with moderate and complex needs including autism. The school had received a ‘Good’ grade by OFSTED.
The successful candidate for this varied post will support the Physical Education teachers and pupils in the smooth running of the PE department. The main responsibilities include supporting students in lessons, preparing materials to help their learning and using ICT to create resources and place orders. This is a rewarding role and would be suited to an enthusiastic team player, with a knowledge of a variety of team games and sports. The successful candidate needs to have the ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines.

Applicants should have (essential):
- Hold (or working towards) an NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification (2 A-Levels) or experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with attention for detail.
- A proactive team player.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and to follow the child protection procedures detailed in the School’s safeguarding policy.
- Contribute positively to the overall ethos, objectives and aims of the School.
