Job overview
Wingfield Academy is looking for a highly organised Personal Assistant to provide high-quality administrative assistance to the Headteacher.
You will work closely with the Headteacher to provide a complete secretarial and administrative service, ensuring the efficient and effective running of the Headteacher’s office and daily business. This will include overseeing the management of the Head's diary, handling calls, post, and emails, organising travel and hotel arrangements and liaising with external agencies and parents.
In addition to this, you will also provide administrative support and assistance to the Vice Principal/SLT and senior colleagues, as and when required.
You will possess previous experience in an administrative role and will be capable of maintaining efficient filing systems and minuting high level meetings. You will also need excellent, communication, teamwork and analytical skills, as well as experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate level.
