Tes is supporting the appointment of a Physics Teacher to join a High School based in Greenwich.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Physics Teacher to work in a well-resourced and flourishing department.
The successful candidate will teach Physics across all age groups, from Year 7 to A level. This is a key role which would suit an ambitious, well qualified individual, wishing to make a significant impact on the success of the school and to enhance the students' education, through both curricular and co-curricular activities.
The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Physics, able to meet the rewarding challenge of inspiring their motivated students from Year 7 to Sixth Form, both inside and outside the classroom. A willingness to teach across the Science faculty at KS3 would be an advantage.
About the Science Faculty
Physics is an important and popular subject at the High School with an impressive record of success at all levels and they are proud of the number of students who go on to study Science and related disciplines at university. Students also enjoy taking part in Science related clubs and competitions.
About the School
Founded in 1880, the High School is a selective school for girls aged 3–18 and was rated “excellent” in their most recent ISI Inspection. They are fortunate to be located on the edge of the stunning Heath and within easy reach of historic Greenwich and Canary Wharf. Following an £18 million investment over the last five years, their brand-new Senior School opened in 2018, and has been provided with state-of-the-art facilities to ensure that their school environment matches the excellent standard of education they provide.
