Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner VACANCY

1 x Full time permanent position working term time plus the equivalent of 1 week of inset

days and 4 weeks during holidays. Part time working may be considered.

 

Woodley School and College is seeking to appoint an outstanding PBS Practitioner who has passion and has drive to empower our students to improve communication, independence and achievement. 

Salary: Grade 9-10

Salary starting point is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

 

We are looking for a person who has already started their PBS qualification journey. You may have the BTEC level 4/5 in PBS or have just started your masters, wherever you are we are excited to meet you. Our mission is to develop PBS practitioners to be the best they can be whether that be supporting tier 3 & 2 students or helping class staff to develop tier 1 school wide strategies. Your valued input will be supported by full professional supervision from a level 7 practitioner and UKABA board member. You will:

·        Inspire trust and confidence

·        Be a skilled team operator

·        Have a great understanding of the challenges autistic children and young people face

·        Be a flexible, reflective and self-evaluating practitioner

·        Take positive action to improve the quality of learning throughout the school
