Post and Administration Assistant
The Worthgate School is looking to recruit a Post and Administration Assistant from November 2023. If you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy a busy and interactive role, this could be for you.
This post holder will be required to manage the receival and distribution of post for students and staff. There will also be a requirement to undertake a variety of administrative tasks.
This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours week, term-time only. Hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday. We are also happy to consider job share.

Role reporting Structure: Reports to the Registrar (a member of the Senior Leadership Team)
Main Duties
• Dealing with all incoming and outgoing post for staff and students;
o Logging and issuing student and staff post/parcels and maintaining a system that allows for correct issuing and tracking of all items;
o Supporting the Exams’ Officer with the receival and distribution of exam-related post (including student examination papers and certificates) and maintaining a strict tracking system;
• Supporting transportation bookings for students, staff and visitors, following safeguarding procedures as appropriate;
• Producing School Certificates as required by SLT;
• Supporting School graduation arrangements with the Registrar and Student Communications team;
• Issuing and ordering stationery, books, textbooks and other orders for equipment or materials for staff and maintaining the School’s stationery supplies;
• Support SLT with administrative duties as required.
