Bangkok Patana School seeks an inspirational and creative Primary Art Teacher to join our vibrant Creative Arts team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a love for the arts, guiding students in their creative journey, and contributing to a dynamic, inclusive learning environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to inspire young learners to explore their artistic potential and develop confidence through visual expression.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and deliver engaging art lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
● Foster a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels confident in expressing themselves through a variety of artistic mediums.
● Collaborate with class teachers to integrate art into cross-curricular projects, enhancing students' overall learning experience.
● Guide students in developing artistic techniques, while encouraging personal interpretation and experimentation.
● Organise art exhibitions and showcases, providing students the platform to display and celebrate their work.
● Promote an inclusive approach to art education, ensuring that all students feel seen, valued, and able to contribute.
● Contribute to the school’s culture of learning, well-being, global citizenship, whilst promoting a respectful and caring environment.
● Engage fully with the life of the school, including participating in extra-curricular activities and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:
● A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
● An undergraduate degree in the Arts (or similar).
● Significant experience in teaching Art in Primary settings, ideally within an international school setting.
● Experience of working in a large, multi-form entry school.
● Strong communication and organisational skills.
● A commitment to the well-being and safeguarding of students.
