Primary School KS1 and KS2 Teachers

Durham School Dubai is seeking outstanding and talented KS1 and KS2 teachers. Applications from teachers with experience in Y2 and Y3 are particularly welcome. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for exceptional, experienced, flexible and adaptable teachers to play a major role in the expansion of Durham School Dubai.

After a very successful start, Durham School Dubai enters its second year of operation in August. It is expected that, at the start of the academic year, the school will be two form entry with approximately 450 pupils ranging from Early Years to Year 9. The school is totally committed to quality; KS1 and KS2 class sizes never exceed 20 and all classes are supported by teaching assistants. Durham School Dubai is expanding but the growth is carefully managed; we are adding just one year group each year.

The school is in its infancy calling for adaptability, flexibility and ability to meet challenge in a fast changing environment. The role would suit enthusiastic, dynamic practitioners familiar with the expectations of high quality UK independent school education with a willingness to commit fully to life of the school and its extra-curricula programme. All applicants should be fully qualified teachers with a minimum of two years experience, an education degree or PGCE.
