In March 2024, Newton International Academy, Smash was rewarded Good in all aspects from BSO under the current leadership. The following month, in April 2024, the school was accredited for three years by the Qatar National School Accreditation team (QNSA). Newton International Academy, Smash Campus is seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable and committed Primary SEN Teacher to join our outstanding team for the new academic year 2025/2026.

Newton International Academy, Smash Campus was established in 2019 and is an international school following the English National Curriculum with a student body encompassing over 70 different nationalities. The school is part of the larger Newton Group that was established in 2006 and is now a leading group of private schools in Qatar, comprising of 9 international schools that offer the English National Curriculum.

Role Responsibilities:

• Developing and overseeing the implementation of the school’s SEN policy.

• Working closely with teachers, parents, and external specialists to create and implement individualized support plans for students.

• Leading training sessions for staff on SEN best practices and strategies.

• Conducting assessments to identify students’ needs and monitoring their progress.

Requirements:

• A relevant degree and qualifications in Special Educational Needs.

• Proven experience as a SEN Teacher or in a similar role, ideally within an international setting.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

• A commitment to inclusive education and the success of every student.
