Primary Teacher

Florence Bilingual School is a parity bilingual Italian/English School that has been in activity since 1973 and is accredited by Cambridge International Education, promoting an educational approach and curriculum aimed at developing each student’s confidence, creativity, and autonomy.

Florence Bilingual School FBS has 

• a Nursery School with 2 sections; 
• a Pre-School with 3 bilingual sections in via San Gallo and 
• 3 bilingual sections in via Bonifacio Lupi; a bilingual Elementary School; and a bilingual international Middle School.

We believe each child has unique talents and our aim is to nurture and celebrate the brilliance of all. Academic success is extremely important to us at FBS, however there is more to school life than just good grades and we put as much emphasis on our students’ development as on their achievement. We offer a bilingual programme based on the National Curriculum for Italy and the Cambridge International Curriculum, the DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française), the DELE Diploma (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera), as well as the IGCSE and the Cambridge English Qualifications C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency. The school is part of the Cognita Schools Group’s European division and has been the first Italian member to join the Group. The FBS has been expanding rapidly and in September 2022 we opened a High School (Liceo), adjacent to the Middle school site, for an additional 250+ students.

We are now hiring an experienced Primary Teacher who is well organised, driven and passionate individual with a clear vision of the student's future development. Ideally, the candidate will have Italian and International experience and good knowledge of classroom planning.
