ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team from August 2025. The successful candidate will be placed in either Year 1 or Year 4, depending on their experience and skill set. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping young learners’ academic and personal development, fostering a love for learning throughout their primary years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the British curriculum, ensuring all students make excellent progress.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports each child’s development academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Implement a range of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and needs, ensuring inclusion and differentiation.
- Use assessment data to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development, planning, and school initiatives.
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independence in young learners through engaging and interactive lessons.
- Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a strong sense of community within the school.
- Actively participate in extracurricular activities, contributing to the wider school experience.
- Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent) and relevant experience at the primary level, preferably within the British curriculum.
- Flexibility to teach either Year 1 or Year 4 based on expertise and classroom experience.
- A passion for primary education and a deep understanding of how young children learn best.
- A nurturing and student-centred approach, with a strong ability to inspire and motivate learners.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- A commitment to reflective teaching and ongoing professional development.
- A proactive and creative mindset, with a willingness to contribute to the school community.
- Previous experience in an international or multicultural setting (desirable).
- Fluent spoken and written English.
