The Role
NISL is looking for positive, driven, and inspirational Primary teachers to join our team. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure. You will be expected to maintain high standards to enable our pupils to flourish in their academic, social, cultural, and physical development.
Essential
- Hold a PGCE, BEd, and QTS (or equivalent)
- Have at least 5 years of teaching experience in the English National Curriculum or a British-style curriculum, either in the UK or internationally
- Demonstrate competence in the use of learning technologies in the classroom
- Thrive from working in a small yet incredibly supportive team
- Have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.
- Be aware of the additional roles and responsibilities that naturally comes from working in a small school
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience in the International Primary Curriculum (IPC)
- Experience of subject leadership (opportunities in the future to lead)
- An understanding of the benefits and challenges of living in a rapidly developing country is an advantage
