Primary Teacher

Our current staff come from seven different countries, and we value the diverse experiences and knowledge that this brings.  International Primary Campus is located in the Minhang District of Shanghai, China. We can be found using Google Maps at 185 LongMing Lu. Our building is a school within a school, with an International Campus of 700 students in Grades 1-5. Our campus is also home to about 920 domestic Chinese students, but we share a common bond in seeking to understand the many diverse cultures of the world. Although we are a large school, we have the feel of a small community school. We pride ourselves in our warm, caring philosophy, where all members of the community – students, teachers, and parents – are learning, growing and participating in the educational process.

We are a learning-focused school, with a mission is to facilitate an ‘East Meets West’ approach to education that prepares young people for the challenges of modern, global society.

The International Stream follows the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), together with the Shanghai Math and Chinese Curriculums. The IPC was introduced in 2015, and we are in the final stages of gaining accreditation for this.
