Trinity Academy Akroydon joined Trinity MAT in 2017 and since this time has been on an incredible journey. In October 2023, Ofsted rated the school as good with outstanding features and identified the school as a vibrant, friendly and happy place in which to learn. The current Principal has been successful in securing an alternative role within the Trust, and as such we are seeking a new inspirational leader to join us as Principal on our continued journey. With the full support of the Director of Primary you will:
- Strategically lead the direction and development of the academy in accordance with the ethos and vision
- Have overall responsibility for raising standards of pupil attainment and achievement across the academy
- Ensure that all strategic planning and leadership takes account of the diversity, values, local communities and partnerships.
- Have responsibility for the financial and physical resources within the academy.
- Work as part of the MAT executive team in the strategic development of the trust.
You must be passionate about improving children’s life chances through the provision of the highest quality of education, and committed to achieving excellent results for the pupils. You must have a strong work ethic, high expectations of yourself and others, and have the ability to lead and inspire staff and pupils in realising those expectations.
