PRINCIPAL

Wilson’s Hospital School is a co-educational, boarding and day school under the patronage of the Church of Ireland. Founded in 1761 the school has a long-established and proud history and currently educates 420 students. The school combines academic excellence with an extensive sporting and extra-curricular programme to provide a truly all-round second-level education.

The school seeks to appoint a new Principal as it moves into a new era. Applications are invited from candidates who will demonstrate strong leadership, communication and professional skills to inspire, motivate and engage the whole school community.  The successful candidate will promote Christian values, maintaining the school’s inclusive culture and high standards. The school is located ten minutes from the vibrant town of Mullingar, Co Westmeath, Republic of Ireland and one hour from Dublin City. A Principal’s residence is available on site. 

The post is subject to conditions of employment as laid down by Department of Education regulations.
