Everyone, Every Lesson, Every Opportunity

Caroline Chisholm is an oversubscribed, academically successful all-through (aged 4-19) school that strives to develop individuals into ambitious, highly successful, happy and resilient young adults. We make learning enjoyable from reception year right up to the sixth form. We provide a challenging academic curriculum, coupled with a very supportive pastoral system that values the strengths and talents of the individual student.

CCS opened in 2004 as a brand new purpose built school, the first all through school in Northamptonshire. In addition to the school itself, our site has a separate nursery run by an external provider. The school currently has over 2,100 students and 228 staff.

Due to the retirement of the current Principal Trustees are seeking a visionary leader to work creatively and collaboratively with all stakeholders to make a positive impact on the lives and experiences of pupils, students, staff, parents and carers and the wider community. This leader will build on the inspirational work achieved so far and take the school to even greater heights. This is an excellent opportunity to build on solid foundations of strong values and aspirations and of high achievement.

The Board will appoint:

  • An experienced leader able to maintain and drive standards.
  • A proven leader able to motivate, inspire, support and develop the talents of pupils, students and staff in a vibrant and progressive environment.
  • A visionary to chart a route that delivers academic excellence while providing pupils and students with innovative opportunities and the encouragement to work hard to realise their aspirations and achieve their full potential.
  • A people person, committed to partnerships, with proven achievements delivered through consultation and collaboration.

School tour: By appointment
