A rare opportunity has arisen to work within the support team as the Principal’s PA with Clerk responsibilities.
We are seeking a dedicated and professional PA to provide high-level administrative support to the Principal and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This role also includes Clerk responsibilities for our Local Governing Body (LGB).
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and support the school’s administration team, ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions.
· Provide confidential, efficient PA services, managing the Principal’s correspondence, electronic diary, and travel arrangements.
· Prepare and attend SLT meetings, managing agendas, minutes, and hospitality.
· Maintain and update the Academy’s website, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance.
· Collaborate with the Chair of Governors and Principal Teacher to fulfil responsibilities to the LGB, including managing meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
What We’re Looking For:
· Proven experience in providing high-level PA support to senior leaders.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage a team and work within a dynamic office environment, maintaining strict confidentiality and integrity.
Contract: 37.5 hours per week. Term Time Only + 4 weeks
Start date: September (negotiable)
Salary Range: FTE £27,351 - £29,777 (pro rata, actual salary £25415.39 - £27,669.70)
