The Role:
We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic Principal to lead King’s Lander Primary Academy into its next chapter of growth and success. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in primary education and will be passionate about fostering an environment where every child can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
As Principal, you will:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the school in line with the values and objectives of the Great Schools Trust.
- Drive academic excellence through innovative curriculum design, effective teaching strategies, and rigorous performance management.
- Ensure the school maintains a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for students, staff, and the wider community.
- Build strong relationships with parents, stakeholders, and the local community to enhance student opportunities and experiences.
- Lead and manage a dedicated team of staff, promoting professional development and a culture of high expectations.
- Work collaboratively with other schools in the Great Schools Trust to share best practices and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the strategic vision and operational success of King’s Lander Primary Academy.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of the curriculum.
- Managing school finances and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.
- Reporting regularly to the Trust and Local Academy Council (LAC) on the school’s progress and performance.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced educational leader with:
- A strong commitment to the values and ethos of King’s Lander Primary Academy and the Great Schools Trust.
- Significant experience in primary education, with a proven track record of raising standards and improving outcomes.
- The ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and the wider community.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- An ambitious, forward-thinking approach with the drive to innovate and continuously improve.
