Rossendale School are recruiting for a Qualified Sensory Integration Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified, who will be required to work closely with other Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals providing support to students; reporting to the Therapy Manager.

The successful candidate will be registered and will hold a qualification in Sensory Integration Occupational Therapy or profession specific equivalent qualification, along with the following characteristics:

Rossendale is a school catering for the needs of pupils whose learning disability may be affected by an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The School provides education for young people aged from 7 – 18 years of age. Our Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 are based on the main school site, whilst Key Stage 5 have a specialist sixth form building based in the local community. At Key Stage 4 and 5 we offer a wide range of GCSE subjects, BTEC Awards, Functional Skills, ASDAN and Entry Level qualifications. We currently want to expand A level courses at the sixth form provision. The school admits boys and girls on both daily and residential placements. Rossendale School has an excellent staff team who are enthusiastic and supportive. Rossendale School was judged to be 'Outstanding' in all areas by Ofsted.
