About you
- You will have an excellent track record of working in the Alternative Provision/Schools sector as a leader, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- You will have experience of leading Quality Assurance processes and working with providers to identify best practice and areas for development
- You will be confident in providing support to schools and service leads who are directly commissioning Alternative Provision for children and young people
- You will have direct experience of working with children and young people with special education and/or additional learning, social emotional mental health needs and of leading teams to improve outcomes for children and young people
- You will have a deep understanding of systemic inequalities and be able to engage leaders in critical examination of systems and cultures that perpetuate inequality with a particular focus on race
- You will support the Strategic Lead for Equalities, Access and Inclusion and Head of Commissioning to develop an improved commissioning framework and strategic plan for developing the Alternative Provision offer across Ealing and beyond
- You will place the highest value on the voice of the parent, child and young person so that they have agency and are placed at the centre of designing improvements that affect their lives.
