The Quality Practitioner will learn to play an important role within the QMIST team and supporting the College at large. You will be support on processes associated with Quality / Audits; from quality assurance, policies, Curriculum Reviews, SAR processes, Review Of Quality and other performance and compliance work are completed timely and to high standards. The role would support the operation of these key processes in terms of completion, compliance and support whilst also offering a critical eye to review contents and look for potential areas of improvement and provide support in ensuring not just the completion of activity, but the quality of what has been done. This will include amending practices and guidance when changes occur. You will also work on other Quality processes that the department support in order to achieve an Outstanding Provision.

 

To be successful in the role you will have to demonstrate excellent understanding of curriculum provision and the associated requirements, keen customer focus and high levels of accuracy in their work. You should also be able to demonstrate high-level skills in IT, literacy and be positive and friendly. They must be able to work well under pressure and be able to review others work and provide guidance and support to ensure processes meet all requirements; both internal and external.

 

For the right candidate, there is the opportunity to undertake further training and complete a Level 4 Apprenticeship. Apprenticeships are funded work-based training programmes and you will receive training to work towards a nationally recognised qualification. The Apprenticeship will be a combination of training on-the-job and external training with the College. As an Apprentice, you will be employed by Runshaw College, earn a wage and work alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills. In this circumstance the candidate would be a L4 Apprentice Quality Practitioner; leading to (on completion) having the role of QMIST: Quality Practitioner
