Aston Academy is a large secondary school on the border of Sheffield and Rotherham, with over 1,500 students between the ages of 11 and 18 on roll.
An opportunity has arisen for a talented and skilled receptionist/administrator, who, reporting to the Administrator Manager, will provide an effective and efficient administration and reception service in the academy. As the first point of contact in the academy for external visitors, parents/carers and/or students, the successful applicant will provide a professional and efficient reception service, whilst contributing to all aspects of day to day administration within the academy.
Relevant experience is desirable but not essential; applications are invited from enthusiastic and positive individuals who demonstrate a can-do attitude and a desire to provide a high level of customer service. A Knowledge and/or experience of Microsoft Office applications and systems is required; training on school specific software will be provided.

Aston Academy is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Swallownest, Sheffield. It is supported by the multi-academy Aston Community Education Trust, which provides specialist staff and expertise for three secondary schools and nine Junior. Aston is a larger than the average-sized secondary, Aston Academy provides 1,800 places for students aged 11-18, when fully subscribed.
Aston Community Education Trust was formed in May 2011 when Aston Academy, previously known as Aston Comprehensive School, converted to academy status.
