Recruitment Coordinator

We are excited to share that we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to join our vibrant HR team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for recruitment, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. If you're ready to make a difference and support the growth of Sandwell College, we welcome your application.

Responsibilities

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and posting job advertisements, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and supporting the selection process. Working closely with department leaders, you will be a first point of contact for recruitment needs and ensure compliance with employment regulations and college policies. Maintaining and updating our applicant tracking system (ATS) will be an important part of your responsibilities, alongside managing candidate communications and ensuring timely updates throughout the recruitment process.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a recruitment role, preferably internally or in an RPO organisation. Strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working with people is vital. A keen eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are also essential.

Given the nature of the role the successful candidate will be CIPD Level 3 (minimum) qualified or willing to work towards this qualification. The ability to prioritise workload is essential as is the ability to adapt flexibility to changing and competing demands that may arise at short notice. Due to the college being set across multiple campuses there is a need to work across campuses so a driving license is highly desirable. The college has a clear focus on achieving outstanding status at its next inspection and is looking for the very best talent to help support and achieve that aim.
