As a Tutor delivering education in prisons, you can really make a difference to improve people’s lives. Challenging, yet extremely rewarding, this role plays a significant part in helping to reduce our learners re-offending. Our Tutors play an integral part in identifying the training requirements of our learners, building them a training plan and helping them to overcome any barriers to employment.
The Regional Cover Tutor will provide cover for staff absence within a specific prison lot.
This is a remote based role with daily travel to one of the following prison establishments to provide cover: Bure, Wayland, and Norwich.
Due to regular travel a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday. Hours will vary and are dependent upon the individual prison however typically you will work Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 and Friday 08:00 – 13:30.
