Resident Boarding Assistant

The Resident Boarding Assistant will play a central role in the life of Chase Grammar School. The Resident Boarding Assistant will be expected to live on site when boarders are in residence (this includes the half-term breaks) for the proper performance of their duties. The Resident Boarding Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Houseparents’ in promoting the welfare, safety and attendance in lessons and activities for all the boarding students in their House, acting in loco parentis. During the school day, the Resident Boarding Assistant will contribute to academic life by supporting students in either their academic studies or during their games afternoons (depending upon experience).

The Resident Boarding Assistant will be part of the wider staff team, acting on behalf of the Principal and in the best interests of the School. This role would be perfect for a person with a “can do” attitude who is considering a career in Education and passionate about quality pastoral care.

This is a residential role and rent free accommodation within a boarding house will be provided. The successful candidate will also be entitled to all meals free of charge when the school is in session.
