The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced School Bus Chaperone to join our fantastic team. Term Time contract working Part Time Monday-Friday (Mornings 07:30-09:00 and Afternoons 15:15-17:15).

About the role
We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy chaperone to join our efficient and friendly Transport Team.
You will safely supervise and support pupils on the minibus route to and from school, ensuring that they travel in comfort and safety. Including transport to/from school sports fixtures and school trips as required. You will ensure that all pupils on board sit correctly and always wear a seatbelt, making sure bags are stowed correctly whilst the journey is underway and escort younger pupils to their classrooms/playgrounds/breakfast club on arrival at school. Ensure the safety of passengers at all times in compliance with Health and Safety Legislation.

Who we are looking for:
To be considered for this role you will have relevant inter-personal experience with children and be flexible to work when required with reasonable notice. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the safeguarding of pupils, staff and all other service users and be reliable with excellent timekeeping and punctuality. Experience with passenger carrying vehicles and home to school transport operations would be an advantage.
