School Business Manager

Swanwick School & Sports College is an ‘Outstanding’ school providing an exciting and relevant education for young people with additional needs including Moderate and Severe Learning needs, Challenging Behaviour and ASD. The Governors are looking for an experienced and dedicated School Business Manager to help the school navigate its way through the ever changing educational environment.

This is a new role within our school which will involve leading a team of three part-time school business staff based within our school. We are looking for a skilled professional who can enhance our provision  by refining systems, improving efficiency and supporting the Co Headteachers with all business matters across the school. The successful candidate will need to have strong IT skills, excellent problem solving skills and most importantly be able to successfully project manage new and ongoing  initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead the school administration team to consolidate existing practice and policies, develop robust financial strategies for increasing pupil numbers, changes to the school site and potential academisation.

Prior experience of working within a special school is not essential and we would be very interested to meet applicants from the wider educational sector.
