We have a rewarding and exciting opportunity for a School Business Manager to join our supportive and positive team. This role is truly varied and interesting and would suit someone who is self-motivated and enthusiastic about giving children the best possible experience of education.
Salary: Surrey Pay 11 - £52047 - £57125 per annum – though the Trust will consider S12 for a highly skilled and experienced candidate.
Hours: 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. This is a school based post and working from home is not appropriate.
Start date: ASAP but will wait for the right candidate
What we are looking for:

• Ability to find creative solutions to the operational challenges of the school.
The SBM will:
- Be responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of the business functions of the school, which include finance, procurement, health and safety, human resources and infrastructure
- Advise on and implement the day to day support that enables the school to operate efficiently and effectively, allowing other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning
- Manage the school’s financial processes and the setting of budgets
- Liaise with external contractors
- Line manage office and finance staff
- Support the headteacher in briefing and preparing information for the school’s trustees
- Oversee a smooth annual audit.
