School Caretaker

The Role: 

We are seeking an experienced, professional and self-motivated full time Caretaker to help ensure the provision of an efficient and effective, well-maintained site and a safe, pleasant environment for staff, pupils and visitors. 

This is a varied role, which will cover site security, maintenance and upkeep of facilities, waste management, as well as porterage duties, all while adhering to good health and safety practices.

Working hours are Monday through to Friday, 12.00pm to 8.15pm each day (7.2 hours per day excluding a 1-hour unpaid break).

The successful applicant will have experience of premises caretaking, preferably within an educational environment. General maintenance skills, knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and of security and emergency procedures will also be required.
