Sion-Manning Catholic Girl’s School working in collaboration with St Pius X Parish, St Charles Square wish to appoint a School Chaplain / Parish Youth Worker
The successful candidate will play a key role in the spiritual development and pastoral support of young people and students within the school and the parish.
Equal time of approximately 19 hours per week will be spent working in each setting
The successful candidate will:
Be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the church
- Have a passion for promoting gospel values
- Have experience of working with young people
- Support and help guide the spiritual journey of the school and parish communities
Sion-Manning Catholic Girl’s School and St Pius X Parish are ambitious and caring communities and foresee this role helping to nurture both communities and to build on their mutual and long-standing and successful collaboration
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend work will also be required.
