Job Summary: Part-Time School Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time School Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors at our school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, toilets, and other school areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces regularly.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
  • Report any damages, maintenance issues, or stock shortages to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.

About Preston Muslim Girls High School

Preston Muslim Girls High School is an all girls, Muslim secondary school in Lancashire, serving students from the age of 11-19. The secondary school, situated in Preston has over 600 students on record. It is administered by Lancashire County Council.

Preston Muslim Girls High School opened in 1989 and is supported by the Preston Teaching School Alliance. It was identified as outstanding by Ofsted in 2016 & 2022.   Students have the opportunity to study BTEC programmes along with GCSEs.
