St Peter’s is an extremely successful secondary school and Sixth Form set in attractive grounds on the outskirts of Guildford. We are looking to expand the department and have vacancies for two part-time school first aiders to join our busy administration team. This role will be student focused, primarily responsible for dealing with students in need of any medical care during the school day.

During quiet times, the first aider will also support Student Services, dealing with enquiries from students, staff and visitors both on the telephone and face-to-face.

The ideal candidates will be:

  • First aid qualified or willing to take a first aid qualification course.
  • Able to remain calm whilst working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident, organised, pro-active individuals who can prioritise their time and workload, whilst having to deal with unexpected interruptions.
  • A team player with a sense of humour and mix of compassion and assertiveness.
  • Experienced in working with children.

St Peter’s can offer you:

  • The opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic and supportive team.
  • A varied workload with the necessary training and development to work effectively. If you do not have a current First Aid certificate, you will be required to attend a first aid course, ideally prior to joining.
  • A Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • An extensive range of benefits and discounts with ‘Mylifestyle’, our employee benefits hub.
  • All staff benefit from free access to Spectrum, Guildford, Sports Centre. Including the gym, group exercise classes, spa and pool.
  • An organisation with a unique ethos based on strong relationships, high expectations and emotional and spiritual health.
