Sherborne Prep is a leading co-educational independent day and boarding school for children aged 3 to 13, with boarding available from ages 7 to 13. Located just a five-minute walk from the vibrant town of Sherborne, the school is set within 12 acres of beautiful grounds and benefits from excellent transport links, including a direct train to London Waterloo and access to several nearby airports.

The school offers a broad and stimulating curriculum supported by specialist teaching in areas such as sport, music, and languages.

Led by Head Mrs Annie Gent since January 2023, the school upholds its Dragon Values—perseverance, honesty, kindness, generosity, awareness, and independence—which are woven into both academic and pastoral life. Most pupils join in the early years or Year 3, though places are available across all year groups.
