Salary information: Scale 2, £4,595 - £4,664 per annum (depending on experience)

Work pattern: 7.5 hours per week, Term time only (38 weeks)

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 12:00am - 1:30pm  

Contract type: Permanent

Start date: ASAP

We are seeking to appoint a number of responsible and reliable staff to join our existing friendly lunch time team.

Duties include supervising pupils during the lunch period. You will assist the children in the dinner hall whilst they eat their lunch and supervise them in the playground.  

The role will entail:

  • Engaging children in eating and helping with feeding.
  • Engaging children in play activities.
  • Keeping our children safe.
  • Communicating effectively with both adults and pupils.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Reliable and hard working.
  • Adaptive to pupils’ needs and autistic spectrum disorder.
  • Willing to assist with personal care and changing children in nappies.
  • Approachable and patient person who especially enjoys interacting with children.
  • Able to use initiative and work well as part of a team.
