School Nurse

Role and Responsibilities

Provide first aid and manage healthcare needs within the school premises, ensuring the well-being of students and staff.

Conduct health screenings and coordinate immunization programs, following health and safety guidelines.

Develop and implement health and wellness programs to educate students on topics like nutrition, physical activity, and mental health.

Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and healthcare providers regarding students’ health issues.

Maintain health records of students, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with existing DHA laws and regulations.

Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse with experience in pediatric, community, or school nursing.

Knowledge of child health and development principles.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.

Ability to respond effectively to health emergencies.

Passion for promoting health and well-being in a school setting.

Dedication to the values of Un-School, with a focus on creating a supportive and inspiring educational environment.

Successful candidates will also show:

Candidates with bi-lingual (English + Arabic) proficiency with respect and appreciation for Emirati culture, Islamic faith and regional aspirations are preferred.
