Are you RGN or RSCN/RN qualified or equivalent and registered with the NMC, with a sound knowledge of the latest first aid techniques? Surbiton High School is seeking for a School Nurse to provide medical support, emergency care and treatment to all members of the Surbiton Community.


Start Date: January 2024

Tenure: Temporary; 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday


Join an exceptional Welfare Team at Surbiton High School which provides support for pupils’ physical and mental health across the Girls’ Preparatory School, Boys’ Preparatory School and the Senior School. The School Nurse will assess pupils’ health needs, implement care plans and maintain health records, providing advice and training on subjects such as First Aid. Additionally, the Nurse will oversee the administration of prescribed and ‘over the counter’ medication, handle day-to-day incidents and accidents and contribute to health education programs, while maintaining medical profiles, supplies and safeguarding responsibilities.

Surbiton High School has approximately 1600 pupils aged between 4 and 18. Our Preparatory Schools are divided into the Girls’ Preparatory School and Boys’ Preparatory School, and the Senior School is girls only from age 11 upwards.
