About the Role:
At Creators International School, we believe that a healthy student is a successful student. As the School Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive health services to our students, promoting health education, and ensuring the overall well-being of our school community. You will work closely with students, parents, and staff to address health concerns, manage chronic conditions, and respond to medical emergencies.
We seek a compassionate and dedicated professional who can provide leadership and guidance on health-related matters. You will create a nurturing and supportive environment where students feel safe and cared for, ensuring that their health needs are met so they can thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive health services to students, including first aid, emergency care, and management of chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement health education programs and initiatives that promote wellness and healthy lifestyles.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings, maintaining accurate and confidential health records.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support the health and well-being of students.
• Create a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where students feel valued and supported.
• Provide leadership and guidance on health-related matters, ensuring that the school community is informed and equipped to support students.
• Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions for staff, students, and parents on topics related to health and wellness.
• Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in school nursing and health care.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the school community.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
• Preferably have an EU passport or already have the right to work in Spain.
• A Nursing qualification.
• Valid Nursing Certification or equivalent, EU recognised.
• Strong experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing, with a track record of success in providing health services to children and adolescents.
• Expertise in health education, wellness programs, and emergency care.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in school nursing and health care.
