School Receptionist

 

Location: Chorister School

 

Position: Two positions – one located at the Bow site, one located at the Cathedral site

 

Hours:

Bow site: 22.5 hours over three days (8am - 4.30pm)

Cathedral site: 19 hours over two days (8am - 6pm)

 

Term Time only + specified additional days during the school holidays for the preparation and close of term.

 

Salary: The salary for the post will be point X22 £20,398 FTE (22.5 hrs prorated £9,287)

(19 hrs prorated £7,842) on the support staff scale (this will be prorated for Term Time if necessary). Incremental rises on the scale will be available annually, subject to satisfactory performance appraisal.

 

Pension The School provides a workplace pension, this is a money purchase scheme, where members contribute a minimum of 3% of eligible salary and the School 5%.

 

Annual leave 25 days paid holiday (increasing annually to 30 days after 5 years’ service) + 8 public holidays

 

Line Management:    Chorister School Headmistress

 

Main Responsibility: 

School Receptionist providing a friendly, professional and efficient service.


We are seeking to appoint two Receptionists as part of the Foundation Operations Team.

 

The holder of this post will work with existing staff in the School Administration department and develop a wide range of customer facing skills. This role will also be involved in events and administrative areas of School life.
