School-based teacher training programme - earn a salary whilst you train. St Bede’s College (Manchester) is set up to provide the very best training and start your career as a Science teacher.
Working full-time as a Trainee Teacher, you will also complete a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) and gain your Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You will be fully supported by your Tutor, in-school coach, fellow trainees and weekly training sessions throughout your training year to ensure you have the tools you need to feel confident and prepared as you develop into a fantastic Teacher.
We are looking for graduates and career changers interested with a passion to teach and we will support you to become successful educators.
Subjects Available: Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialism)
Salary (Apprenticeship) Unqualified Salary: £20,598 + £9k tuition fees included in package
To be eligible for this position you must have or be studying towards, or have obtained an undergraduate (Honours) degree with at least grade 2.2 (or equivalent / predicted) within a related subject. You will also have GCSEs in English and Mathematics at grade C/4 (or equivalent).
