We seek to appoint a suitably qualified Science Technician who will be responsible for providing technical support in Science subjects from KS3 to KS5. Being adaptable and willing to take on all challenges is essential, as is an interest in all areas of Science. Technical expertise is preferred as a large part of the role involves setting up the equipment and providing the necessary support with the GCSE and A Level ‘Required Practical’ activities. You would also be flexible, mindful of Health and Safety issues and possess excellent interpersonal skills. A degree of computer literacy is required.
Applicants should have knowledge of COSHH regulations and a relevant Science qualification, ideally with previous experience of working in a Science department, School or commercial laboratory.
