The Wingate School's Secondary school is growing. As a result we are looking to appoint a Secondary Humanities teacher for an August 2025 start.
Regarding the candidate, we are looking for:
- First language English speakers with knowledge of the British curriculum and IGCSE courses and examinations. Knowledge of the IB is a strong advantage.
- A flexible person who can adapt to the challenges of a growing school.
- Enthusiasm and initiative.
- Sound teacher qualifications. PGCE or equivalent.
- Full-time Secondary school teaching experience.
- A cheerful, professional, hard-working and well-presented person, capable of inspiring confidence in pupils and parents. Please note the school's dress code does not allow visible piercings or tattoos.
- An awareness of the demands of teaching in an international school and a commitment to fostering high academic achievement.
- Good communication and ICT skills .
- Commitment to the all-round ethos of the School, including its co-curricular activities and School of Character approach.
- A person excited about the prospect of living in Latin America.
