Your opportunity
We seek a creative and dedicated Secondary Teacher who can deliver Certificate III in Visual Arts (Photograph) to join our talented team in 2025.
Commencing on 20 January, this position is part-time.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practice and a passion and talent for photography.
The successful candidate will also be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs of Freshwater Christian College, and seek a role providing opportunities to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and the wider College community.
Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will:
- hold relevant teaching qualifications and experience;
- hold (or have the ability to acquire) Queensland College of Teachers Registration;
- hold industry experience in photography, or a Certificate IV or above in Visual Arts;
- hold (or have the ability to acquire at our cost) a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122;
- be able to successfully meet the requirements set down by the Registered Training Organisation to deliver the qualification, including maintaining industry experience;
- be able to sign and abide by the College’s Statement of Faith;
- be able to abide by the Staff Code of Conduct at all times;
- be able to work with all members of the College community;
- be fully aligned with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College;
- be legally permitted to work in Australia.
