Secondary School Principal - Bearing Campus

TSI is looking for a Principal that values the TSI Guiding Statements and is ready to join a very cohesive Executive Leadership Team who have worked together developing TSI over the past 6 years. 

TSI is in the process of re-accreditation with the Council of International Schools and, after our Preparatory Evaluation Report, we have a clear strategic plan to follow towards our anticipated Team Accreditation visit in March/April 2026.

1) DURATION

We offer an initial 2 year contract, commencing on August 1st, 2025.

2) MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

- Oversee and ensure the provision of high quality learning and teaching that reflect the TSI Guiding Statements across all areas of the school

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Secondary School

- Lead and monitor the implementation the TSI School Improvement Plan

- Specific responsibilities will depend on the strengths of the applicant how these will best integrate with the role of the Deputy Principal who currently has a Teaching, Learning, Curriculum, and Assessment focus

 3) QUALIFICATIONS

- Native English speaker

- prefer post-graduate or Masters-level Educational Leadership qualifications

 4) EXPERIENCE

- At least 5 years’ experience as the Principal of an International School

- Experience in Senior Leadership within your home country context

5) HIGHLY DESIRABLE

- Highly competent in 21st Century skills - Collaboration Communication, Critical and Creative Thinking, Emotional and Social Intelligence

- A belief in the holistic development of learners, balanced by a focus on academic rigour and achievement and results

- Outstanding relationship development and people skills

ABOUT US

TSI International School has been educating students since 1985 and was one of Bangkok’s first international schools. TSI is a non-profit school governed by a charitable foundation. In 2017, the school began a renewal process with new management and a complete review of our Values and Guiding Statements. Over the past 7 years the school has gone from strength to strength. We continue to experience a significant increase in enrolments as our reputation for providing world-class international schooling continues to grow. In August 2025, we will open our second primary school at our Bearing Campus.

We have moved on from a ‘renewal’ phase and are now firmly entrenched in school improvement and working towards reinstating our fully accredited status with CIS. We recently had Council of International Schools (CIS) evaluators visit both school campuses as a part of their Preparatory Evaluation report. One evaluator posted the following on LinkedIn after the visit:

At our Secondary School, students have achieved excellent IGCSE and A-Level exam results in recent years and are now studying at universities all around the world. Our Bearing Campus is ideally located a few minutes from Bearing BTS station, while the Wongwianyai Campus is located close to popular residential areas of Bangkok.  The expansive and leafy Bearing campus offers very generous outdoor sports facilities, a huge Gymnasium, an open-air Swimming Pool and modern classroom learning environments.
