Knowledge:

  • Evidence of up to date knowledge of the Cambridge/British Curriculum.

  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team.


Experience:

  • At least two year’s teaching Science in Secondary School.
  • Evidence of previous successful teaching or of successful teaching placements.
  • Evidence of good personal relationships/team player.
  • Evidence of experience of working with students who have challenges, both learning and behaviour.


Educational:

  • Qualified teacher with a Bachelors degree in Education.
  • Attested/Apostilled qualifications from the country in which you obtained the degree.
  • Evidence of involvement in continuing professional development (CPD) activities.


Special Requirements:

  • Applicant’s compliance to supporting and upholding the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.
  • A Criminal Record Disclosure will be required prior to appointment.
  • Excellent and unequivocal references.

About Multinational School - Bahrain

Introduction

Multinational School Bahrain is an inclusive BSO (British Schools Overseas) accredited private school situated in the suburb of Adliya in Manama, Bahrain. The school caters for students from Nursery to Year 13 and boasts a dedicated Learning Enrichment Department offering support to students with varying educational requirements.

History

The school’s campus has a long and colourful history having previously housed the U.S. Embassy and the New York Institute of Technology prior to becoming a school in 2013.

The school initially followed the Australian curriculum before switching to the British curriculum under its new ownership in 2017 and is now a fully accredited British School Overseas. The vibrant and welcoming school community now comprises of over 50 different nationalities and continues to go from strength to strength.
