Hastings School aims to provide a high-quality education within a culture of care. The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Secondary Teacher of Spanish to join our fantastic team. This is a Maternity Cover position.

About the role

As a Secondary Teacher, you will teach Spanish effectively to the range of abilities within our student body and promote a genuinely positive approach your subject. This will involve planning, teaching, class management and monitoring and evaluating.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have EITHER a degree in Spanish or in a humanities subject with 24 credits related to Languages and/or Literature OR to have taught Spanish in another school for at least 12 months. They will also have the CAP or Master’s in Secondary Education or, if trained in England, a PGCE recognised as the Spanish Master’s or the reconocimiento a la profesión.
