Job overview
Vision for Education are looking for a Key Stage 3 Class Teacher to work at a Pupil referral unit in Bradford. The school are looking for a teacher to start after the Christmas break to complete a long term contract that will go permanent after Easter. The role involves working with the most hard to reach pupils that have been removed from mainstream education due to them needing specialist support with behaviour and learning. The school are committed to growing pupils emotional and social intelligence as well as developing their academic abilities. The successful candidate will have experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour, social emotional and mental health issues, and mild learning disabilities. The successful candidate will also have the following attributes:
- Hold QTS
- Be primary trained or be a core subject teacher
- Be team teach trained or be willing to attend our free two day course
- Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service, or be willing to undergo one.
- Must want full time permanent work
