An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time SEN Administrator to join the Meon Way Federation working across Meon Infant, Meon Junior and Moorings Way Infant School. We are looking for a well-organised, efficient and enthusiastic individual to provide a comprehensive administration service for key SEN areas within the schools. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the organisation and coordination of Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) process, establishing good working relationships and communication with agencies, professionals and families by acting as the primary contact for SEND queries.

You will have the ability to cope with conflicting demands whilst working to tight deadlines in a methodical manner observing confidentiality at all times.

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to be able to relate to a wide range of people including pupils, staff, parents and external professionals
  • An understanding of the developmental, emotional, social and educational issues of children and young people
  • High standards and attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft 365
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or equivalent qualification
